A Bit More About The Women Behind The Boot Camp
Kindal Boyle
The owner of the Fat Blasting Boot Camp, Kindal is a NASM Certified personal trainer and strength coach; as well as a certified nutrition consultant.
Fitness has been her passion all of her life. As a gymnast growing up, Kindal learned about commitment and intensity. Once in college, those lessons slipped a bit as her weight crept on. Through hard work and support she worked the weight off and found a new path in life.
She graduated from Winthrop University with a Biology PreMed Degree, but instead of pursuing her goal of going to Med School, Kindal became a trainer and found her passion for women’s fitness.
Since then she has participated in:
- Competed in a Figure Competition
- Ran over a dozen 5K’s
- Competed a Strong Woman’s Competition
- Completed Charleston’s Rugged Maniac Mud Run
- Charleston Push-Up Challenge
- Signed up for Marine Corp Mud Run (Oct 2011)
She and her husband, Dan, also own a successful women’s only fitness training site to help women all over the world hit their fitness goals.
“It’s so excited to see women do things they never thought they would be able to do: wether it’s to run a mile or do a push-up, these milestones are what makes me excited about my job!”
Jeanette Hounshell
In 2006 Jeanette was a Carb-loving couch potato with an extra 30 lbs on her body. She spent days munching on cereal, pizza, Mexican food, and ice cream. She did a lot of complaining about her weight but never did anything about it (sound like anyone you know?)
Jeanette had intentions to get up each morning and workout, often setting the alarm for 5:00 a.m., that alarm went off for a year and for a year and the snooze kept getting hit. Finally She had a realization that if she wanted to make a change then it was time to commit.
Jeanette started taking fitness seriously and stopped hitting the snooze button and within 8 months had lost the 30 lbs.
That was the start of it all!
Since then Jeanette has accomplished much more than ever thought possible.
- Several half marathons
- Several Full marathons
- Triathlons
- Rugged Maniac Race
- Push-up Contest
“My goal: always have something to train for because that’s what motivates me.”
She’s been where you are: Jeanette hasn’t always been athletic; hasn’t always been the weight that she is now. She knows how it feels to want to make a change.
Jeanette holds a certificate in Personal Training and Sports Nutrition from SCW fitness and became a trainer because she’s learned SO much since her couch potato days.
Looking forward to working with you!
